For me cooking comes from the heart and good food begins with well sourced, seasonal ingredients. It should appeal to all the senses, sight, smell, taste, touch and emotion.
Working with as many local growers and producers as possible we have a direct appreciation of the seasons and connection with the environment and the community.
Above all cooking is about giving, and I’ve been doing it for over 25 years and I still love it !

Some years ago I pinned ‘Eat well, travel often’ on my wall – my personal motto. After running a catered ski-chalet in the French alps and having pop-up dining events in my living room in Amsterdam, I felt the desire to learn more about how to produce, prepare and preserve food.
This led me on a three year journey working on permaculture farms, citrus orchards, sourdough bakeries, cookery schools and olive groves around the world.
Creating spaces people love inspires me. I’m very happy to be part of this new journey running the new White Post Cafe with Sally and Davina.
I have been in the hospitality front of house profession for 15 years, from pulling pints on the Scottish border, orchestrating the catering and staff for a cricket world cup to silver service for luxurious balls and special occasions.
I have an eye for detail and a love for providing enjoyment and fun. Knowing thy product goes a long way to giving exceptional service, doing so with a smile and genuine manner, all adds to the relaxing backdrop here at White Post.
It is my pleasure to offer an environment with wholesome food and awesome coffee. My dream is to work in a nurturing place for souls to relax away from home in a beautiful setting.
